The signature paddle of the Suisse Normande: the Orne winds under wooded crags from Pont-d'Ouilly to the Clécy viaduct area, class I-II with small rapids and canoe-passable weirs (Pont d'Ouilly and Moulin Neuf dams have marked passages). Pont-d'Ouilly's natural whitewater stadium beside the club provides slalom-standard class II-III water in winter and hosts regional competition — the region's honest whitewater focal point. Big rental operation in summer; the full 40 km itinerary continues via Thury-Harcourt to Val de Maizet.
