About
Classe I-II. Gentle granite-gorge float on the upper Creuse north of Guéret: about 6 km from the Glénic viaduct to Jouillat through the wooded Gorges de la Creuse, calm water with three slightly 'sporty' class II passages. Below Anzême the Moulines cascade area marks the livelier character of the gorge before the Éguzon reservoir chain. A beginner-friendly run served by the Glénic canoe base. Season: Spring to early summer; low in late summer Gauge reference: Vigicrues 'Creuse à Glénic'
