Classe II (III). The young Lot off the flanks of Mont Lozère: a lively class II run with occasional III passages and small weirs, from the spa village of Bagnols-les-Bains down the pastoral upper valley to Mende. Nothing extreme — a spring touring classic for Lozère paddlers when the water is up, with easy road access along the N88 for shuttles. Watch for low farm bridges and weirs around the villages.
