12 km. Rain-dependent - only worthwhile after good rainfall. Two weirs: portage both. Two causeways: portage at low to medium levels, or run straight over at sufficient flow. Several playholes for competent paddlers. Hazard: strainers are common throughout because the river flows infrequently.
