About
120km flat stretch, 3-7 days depending on craft and level. Not dam-controlled. Rapids: The Drop (8km below put-in) and Snake Bend (3km further) are easy shoots. The Chute narrows into a chute ending in a stopper that can be sticky — scout first. High water gives easy drift but strong whirlies can still form. After rains the water is silt-laden; carry drinking water. The final Lichtenstein Gorge is typically mirror-flat with no rapids. Shorter sections possible using farms as put-in/take-out with prior permission.
