Golo — Ponte Castirla to Ponte Leccia

Classe III (III+). The classic intermediate run of northern Corsica: fast, continuous grade 3 wave trains and boulder rapids from the Ponte Castirla (D84/T20 junction area) down past Francardo to Ponte Leccia. Level depends almost entirely on the hydro release from the Scala di Santa Regina scheme, making it one of the most reliable runs on the island. Good warm-up river and a common rafting stretch. Season: March-June; runs longer than most Corsican rivers thanks to hydro releases Gauge reference: Gauge at Ponte Castirla: paddleable above ~100 cm (hydro-release dependent)
