About
A 70km remote, big-volume, technical run graded 3 to 5. Not dam-controlled, no permits. Put-in at the N2 bridge or Tsitsa Falls; take-out at Dikela shop (hike up from the river). The Tsitsa flows into the Tina about 5km before its confluence with the Mzimvubu. Similar in character to the Tina. The first half features mostly class 3 rapids up to the Tsitsa Falls, after which the river enters a deep gorge with intense rapids demanding serious respect, particularly the section immediately below the falls.
