From the border village of Salau to Couflens the current is fast and the whitewater sustained class IV (IV+), a continuous granite boulder staircase with few rests. Take out at the stairway below the Couflens road bridge (which is also the put-in for the continuation to Pont de la Taule at the Alet confluence).
