Classe II (III, one IV drop at Archettes in high water). The best of the upper Moselle's class I-II water with class III passages, flowing through meadows and Vosges forest into Épinal. The 'saut de l'Archette' area holds the crux — roughly 200 m rated up to class IV when the river is high — otherwise it is a friendly club run and the usual choice among the Bussang–Épinal reaches. Rain and snowmelt fed from the Vosges massif, so catch it in winter/spring.
