Little-paddled torrent draining the Trois-Évêchés massif above Digne: braided gravel channels alternating with short rocky rapids, continuous class II-III when the snow is melting. Typical wild pre-alpine hazards - shifting beds, strainers in the braids and some weirs near Digne; scout anything blind. A local's spring run rather than a destination classic; verify current conditions with Digne-area clubs before travelling. Season: Spring snowmelt/rain (March-June); too low most of the year
