Duration

About
2.5km creek run that joins the Elandspad to form the Molenaars. Fast - suited to reactive paddlers who can read water on the fly. When uncertain, boof. Access: hike in. Cross the usual Molenaars put-in bridge and follow the path left upstream, scanning for strainers (essential - once you're on, there's no stopping until the confluence). Two river ferries to stay on the path. After the second ferry the gradient steepens until the river starts sieving through rocks - put in just below that point. Take out at the low-level bridge (Molenaars put-in) or continue into the Molenaars run.
