Classe II-III. The friendly Couserans classic below the whitewater village of Seix (home of the 1000 Pagaies club), class II-III wave trains down to the Arac confluence at Kercabanac, which features a fine sweeping rapid. Regularly used as a national wildwater-descent selection course, so the lines are clean and well travelled. Good intermediate step before the harder upper-valley runs; watch for weirs around Seix. Season: Most of the year; classic spring Gauge reference: Vigicrues Salat stations (Soueix area); race-season (spring) levels are ideal.
