About
Most-paddled section of the Bushmans. 5km wildwater race course starts just below the put-in weir; K1 races also start here. Rapids small but fairly technical, with short pools between. All can be read from the top - no scouting required. Classic KZN play section at medium to full levels. Several shorter take-outs exist closer than the Weenen road but sit on private farmland needing arranged access. One short take-out is on the Kemps road just past the Fort Dunfurd museum.
