Arc — Gorges de l'Arc au Pont du Diable (Avrieux)

Classe III-IV (5, 1 infran). Spectacular short gorge run starting beneath the Pont du Diable near Avrieux, overlooked by a via ferrata. Class I-II inside the sheer gorge, then class III-V rapids at the gorge exit including one infranchissable that must be portaged. The crux of the logistics is the put-in: a steep path equipped with fixed ropes down into the gorge. Finish on class III-II to the Chalets du Nikaia bridge at Avrieux (parking river-right). Season: Snowmelt / EDF-influenced flows, early summer; check locally
