Sunny Baronnies valley run through small gorges past Sahune and Curnier to Nyons: warm water, scenic vulture-patrolled cliffs and playful wave trains a notch harder than the Drôme - ideal for progressing class II-III paddlers. Rain-fed and quick to drop, so catch it in spring. Watch for a few weirs and low farm crossings; wood can collect in the narrower gorge bends.
