About
9km. Flat water, small rapids, several weirs and low-level bridges. Lanseria Falls: starts immediately after put-in. Tricky lead-in to a drop, then a second drop after a long pool. Second drop is rocky - shoot left of centre in a K1, or take the far-right chicken run at high water. ~3km in: first weir - portage left, or shoot the right-hand chicken run at high water. 1km past that: low-level bridge - portage via the midstream island, or shoot far right at high water. Broken weir before Friday's Weir: shoot extreme left under the trees at most levels. Friday's Weir (~1km before take-out): best portaged on the right, or cross the dry middle chute at low flows. Shootable on the extreme right by entering at a 45-degree angle right to left - this weir has broken boats. Far-left chute also an option for kayakers and bold K1 paddlers.
