About
A flat 22km stretch starting just below the confluence of the Tugela and Little Tugela. Suited to beginner K1 paddlers and training runs, with only a couple of small rapids and no rough water. A paddleable level holds through summer, topped up by tributaries entering the Tugela below Spioenkop Dam. Scenery is pleasant and birdlife is abundant.
