About
Classe II-III. Big-volume glacial class II-III through the Bourg d'Oisans plain, boosted by the Vénéon confluence — the home run of the Canoë Kayak Oisans club and local raft trips. Fast turquoise-grey water, wave trains and braids; main hazards are cold water, wood on gravel bars and bank protection works. Take out at Rochetaillée before the hydro infrastructure of the lower Romanche (the historic Livet-Gavet gorge runs were lost to the Gavet hydro scheme).
