About
Classe IV. Technical wooded class IV creek run down the Haut-Bréda from Pinsot to Allevard, on the torrent that drains the Belledonne/Allevard massif to the Isère at Pontcharra. The bed has been cleaned in the past but the banks are heavily wooded and fallen trees are a constant hazard — scout blind drops. The local club treats it as class IV territory; the river eases towards Pontcharra for a class II-III continuation. Season: Belledonne snowmelt (April-June) and after rain
