Classe II+-III (one mandatory portage). Popular intermediate valley run past Argelès-Gazost with read-and-run class II+-III wave trains. Take out at the Ecolorado whitewater base at Agos-Vidalos, visible from the road arriving from Lourdes. One long weir/ramp must be portaged on the right bank; eauxvives.org insists on scouting this passage before the descent as it is hard to identify from the water. Slides and weir outflows change after floods and should be re-checked. Season: April-July snowmelt; often enough water year-round outside late summer Gauge reference: Vigicrues 'Gave de Pau à Lourdes'; runnable most of the season, thin in late summer.
