This 15km section forms the second stage of the Gariep-Fish system, with the put-in just above the confluence of the Teebus and the Great Brak. From the start, paddle 500m to a weir damming both rivers and portage on the right bank. Two further weirs follow: the first has a runnable right-hand line (scout from the left), the second must be portaged on the right. Beyond the weirs, the river is open with readable lines through the rapids and several good playholes.
