Tavignano — Corte to Vecchio confluence

Classe III (IV). The eauxvives.org P1 classic: 17 km of grade 3(4) from Corte, boosted early on by the Restonica confluence. Big-feeling water for Corsica with mini bedrock grilles and granite boulder rapids alternating with gravel stretches and good playspots, through increasingly rural scenery. A small gorge just above the Vecchio confluence briefly raises the level to an easy grade 4. Take out near the Vecchio mouth off the N200.
