About
A popular 20 km K1 section that also rewards kayakers at higher water. From the put-in the river is largely flat with scattered small rapids. The final kilometres steepen into a continuous stretch of class 2 whitewater, ending with a couple of ledges just before the take-out that are runnable in a K1 but worth scouting. Paddlers wanting an easier trip can exit at a low-level bridge roughly 7 km before Sierra Ranch, skipping the harder section.
