Main tributary of the Great Kei. Access here is easier than most former-Transkei sections. 10km of flat water before the whitewater begins, after which the run becomes committing. Numerous small and larger drops follow — many warrant a scout, some are unrunnable at certain levels. Continuous gradient makes scouting difficult.
