About
10km of flat water and small rapids. Starts at Woodmead School with a small weir. Porcupine Park (1km upstream of the school) is an alternative put-in. The river meanders ~5km to a low-level bridge - portage at low water, or run a fairly easy chute a third in from the right bank at higher levels. Downstream wave formations become dangerous in flood. Long flat pool, then a series of enjoyable rapids to the Lanseria low-level bridge take-out. At high levels do not miss the bridge - Lanseria Falls follows shortly.
