Classe III (III+). The friendly Roya classic used by the Breil clubs and raft schools: ~7 km of class III boulder rapids and wave trains from the Gémion bridge down to Breil-sur-Roya, finishing at the Aïgara slalom stadium (access point 'Sens Interdit' 400 m upstream). Historic slalom venue and training site of the Nice/Breil paddling community. Good intermediate step before the Saorge gorge upstream; take out above the Breil lake weir. Season: April-June and November naturally; summer mornings on EDF releases Gauge reference: Vigicrues 'La Roya à Breil-sur-Roya'; EDF release timing governs summer flows
